The City of Grosse Pointe operates a municipal parking system consisting of several off-street parking areas in all three business districts, as well as on-street metered parking areas.  These parking areas are intended to provide convenient customer parking for these shopping areas on Mack, Fisher Road and the Village, and provide adequate employee parking where possible (Village Parking Map and Mack Avenue Map).  These public parking areas are regulated and enforced to ensure these goals are met.  Revenues collected from public parking areas are placed in the City Parking Fund and dedicated to be used to maintain, improve and upgrade the parking system.

All on-street parking meters are operating and enforced. There is no charge for off-street public parking lots and The Village parking structure until the end of September.
